1. Al Jahlu (kebodohan)

2. Al Ghadhab (marah) 

Pintu masuk syetan selanjutnya adalah marah. Oleh sebab itu Rasulullah mengingatkan kita pentingnya mengendalikan amarah.

Jikalau merasa marah, segera berwudhu, atau minimal ubah posisi tubuh menjadi duduk atau berbaring.

3. Hubbud Dunya (Gila dunia) 

Seseorang yang tergila-gila pada dunia akan sangat mudah dipengaruhi bisikan syetan, misalnya bisikan untuk memakan harta haram, bisikan untuk melakukan tindak perselingkuhan bagi yang sudah berumahtangga, atau bisikan untuk melakukan maksiat lainnya.

4. Thulul Amal (Panjang angan-angan) 

Saat seseorang panjang angan-angan, syetan akan mudah merayunya untuk berbuat maksiat, atau untuk merasa takut mati.

5. Al Hirshu (Tamak) 

Orang yang rakus atau tamak akan sangat mudah dimasuki syetan, yakni dibuat takut kehilangan harta, enggan bersedekah, memandang baik pada perbuatan tidak jujur, tindak korupsi, dan lain sebagainya yang penting membawanya pada kekayaan dunia.

6.  Al Kibru (Sombong) 

Sifat sombong jelas merupakan pintu masuk syetan, karena memandang rendah orang lain atau memandang tinggi diri sendiri, sehingga tak mau menerima nasihat, tidak mau menjalankan kebenaran.
