Selain berguna untuk memandikan jenazah, daun bidara ternyata juga memiliki khasiat yang turun temurun, diceritakan pada zaman dahulu kala daun bidara digunakan untuk membersihkan darah bekas haid. Tak berhenti sampai disitu, daun bidara yang ternyata sangat berkhasiat sebagai obat atau jamu, juga bisa digunakan sebagai bahan makanan atau minuman yang tentunya sangat menyehatkan.
